GENE KLEIN has worked at Hypnotic with producer David Bartis and director Doug Liman for over a decade. Klein served as an Executive Producer on USA Network’s hit drama Suits. Klein has developed and produced numerous other pilots and series while at Hypnotic, including USA’s Covert Affairs, which ran for five seasons, and the irreverent youth comedy I Just Want My Pants Back (MTV).
Klein also developed several new media and branded entertainment projects, most prominently Reebok’s Terry Tate, Office Linebacker, which became a Super Bowl ad in 2003. Klein also Executive Produced the feature film thriller Cry_Wolf for Focus Features in 2002.
Before joining Hypnotic, Klein worked for HBO for seven years.
Klein is a native of upstate New York and holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Williams College and an M.B.A. from New York University.
He currently resides with his wife and daughter in Santa Monica, CA.
